Review on πŸ”‡ Ultimate Hearing Protection for Forestry Professionals: TR Industrial Power & Hand Tools by Jeff Davidson

Headband keeps coming off requiring you to stop and reassemble work

Good quality otherwise. But the headband is too thin. The small clips holding the headband are constantly being loosened. The mesh screen is better than Husqvarna and Stihl helmets. But I returned the TR helmet after a harness issue. TR helmet I've gone around all the chainsaw dealers in the area and found it very confusing to buy Husqvarna because they have so many different models. Even the Pro model doesn't live up to store-to-store requirements. Worst quality Husqvarna helmet sold at Lowes (junk). I can't understand why Husqvarna would put such a poor quality helmet on the market. I ended up buying a $74.95 Stihl ProMark helmet ($149 at Revain). Yes, it's expensive, but I don't compromise on the quality of the instrument. It was way more premium than any of the Husqvarna helmets or any other helmets I looked at. I've only found a Stihl helmet in specialty stores that sell Stihl gear. And remember, helmets are like brains! They only work if you use them :)

Pros
  • ANSI & CE Approved - Helmet is ANSI rated Z89.1-2003
Cons
  • So far so good
