Otherwise the quality is good. But the headband is too thin. The small clips holding the headband are constantly being loosened. The mesh screen is better than Husqvarna and Stihl helmets. But I returned the TR helmet after a harness issue. TR helmet I've gone around all the chainsaw dealers in the area and found it very confusing to buy Husqvarna because they have so many different models. Even the Pro model doesn't live up to store-to-store requirements. Worst quality Husqvarna helmet sold at

The fine line between 3 and 4 stars

I've debated how to rate this helmet since I first used it. I cleared bushes and used it with a chainsaw, wood chipper and log splitter. I had no problem with anything not piercing either the helmet or the visor, but to my knowledge I didn't hit anything in either. The helmet is stiff but not as harsh to the touch as some other helmets I've seen. I'm sure commercial lumberjacks carry something much more durable, but for the average person at home, that's probably enough. Where it loses pointsโ€ฆ

Affordable protection that meets ANSI

later This is essential safety equipment when using a jigsaw or other outdoor power tool that throws chips and debris and has a decibel noise level in the damage area. Sexiest security system, no! If you want to look cool while cutting, get a Stihl Pro or Husqvarna system. However, if you want head, ear and face protection at a reasonable price for a weekend warrior like me, then this is the one for you. This is ANSI Type 1 approved Class C head protection, 22dB noise reduction, 6-pointโ€ฆ
