available After an unfortunate amount of time debugging and a hint from the Raspberry Pi forums that some of the Chinese tc358743 boards broke i2s, I checked with an oscilloscope and indeed the SD pin has no i2s output , even if WFS and SCK are properly powered by the Raspberry Pi. It seems that the SD pin is actually connected to one of the HDMI signals, as I sometimes see an incoherent signal on it when selecting different DV pixel formats from the source. I checked the geekworm forums and in fact when asked about i2s the staff simply said "no support for i2s". Of course it would be nice to read it on the product page, but I think a bit of honesty won't help selling broken tc358743 bridge boards. But if you only care about the video, it works fine.
