Purchased for use with the A7III camera. Dolga selected between him, Sigma 50 1.4 and Zeiss Sonnar 55 1.8. As a consequence of this, I decided to purchase it, despite the fact that it was used; as a result, I saved forty percent compared to the price of a brand new one. In general, because the design is so dependable, I do not believe that there was any error in this. The sole advantages of the Zeiss 55 1.8 are its weight, which is four times lighter, and its lack of noise (in this case, the activity of the focusing motors during continuous focusing can be heard, which may discourage people from purchasing it for video). Both of these things don't matter in my opinion. The Sigma comes in at a substantially lower cost and has a minimum focus distance that is only slightly better. The latter was brought to its current state by the theft of used products. There is nowhere to use it at the moment, but after it has been isolated, I plan to begin actively shooting.
