Bought an Intel i7 9700k processor and needed a reliable CPU cooler. The Cool Master 212 Black Edition got a lot of good reviews for a good price. The photos I have provided in this review are of the condition it was received in, factory boxed for shipping so the box was not in new condition. When I opened the box, the hardware was worn with scratches and 4 corners of one side of the radiator fins were bent. I traded it in because I paid a lot for my processor and want it to be protected. If the next one is in good shape I'll change my guess. The exchange was shipped in a factory sealed box like a shipping box. Also this time the fins were bent in 2 places and right in the middle of the cooler it looks like someone is running their fingers up and down the fins. The direct contact plate has thermal or water damage and is not smooth. After unboxing I decided to buy the same cooler from Best Buy to see if I would have the same problem. Best Buy's box was in much better condition. The cooler was in great shape too, and the fan was spinning quieter for some reason. I don't have negative reviews for the Best Buy cooler, but I know which cooler I trust my computer with. I rarely have problems with Revain, but this time I would not recommend this product from Revain, but I would recommend Cool Master 212. BE
