The joke in my house is that the cups say "espresso" just in case you forget what you're drinking -- between sips! After using the set, however, I've come to really like it. The holder is sturdy and machined well. The cups are designed to nest and stack securely. The saucers are not dainty, they can easily accommodate your cup -- or a pastry!If I had a complaint, and I understand that this is specific to my set, there's a defect with one of my cups. When they're stacked, "espresso" should be lined up on all of the cups from top to bottom. Well, on one of my cups, the word "espresso" is shifted about 20% further to the left. For its' part, the word "espresso" isn't a cheap screen-printing I can just peel off with a razor, the letters were stamped into the ceramic and baked in place. I do like the set, there's a lot to like about it, I guess I'll just keep that defective cup at the top, so it's always the first one used, ha.
