I build my studio piece by piece. As you should know, lighting is the most important element of any studio setup. This is my second COB/Bowen for the studio. I have to admit this is the MOST light for any studio. From the packaging to the finish of the product, everything is top notch. Let me start with the build quality which is as premium as any more expensive brand you can imagine. The metal body and composite plastic construction are on par with the competition. Because the flashlight is very powerful and can get quite hot with prolonged use, there is a relatively quiet fan that can be seen through the flashlight's grille and provides enough ventilation to keep it cool. There is more than one option to turn on the device. You can power it with the included AC adapter or the V-mount battery for on-the-go use. If you can get your hands on a 150wv mount battery you can use the light for about an hour as it is rated for 150w. It comes with a very robust controller with DMX in and out for on-set computerized lighting control. You can use the remote control or download IOS or Android APP to control the light. I am really impressed with the quality and durability of this product and would highly recommend it to content creators and portrait artists.
