Works with a little angling

Our 3 year old granddaughter found the knobs on her bedroom and bathroom doors locking them. I managed to find a wire hanger to open the doors, but I needed something designed for the task. I searched a few nearby stores but couldn't find anything so I ordered these. They are strong enough and long enough to reach the locking pin inside the handle. The reason I didn't give this product five stars is that the rod is narrower than a wire hanger and the plunger can be difficult to find. It may take a little "fishing" inside the handle to find and depress the plunger.
