Excellent detector. It has a long range, but above all it is very quiet! I used to be a happy user of V1. But the dramatic increase in non-police K-band radars rendered the V1 useless to me. I had to disable the K-band on the V1 to stay sane and I live in a state where K-band police radar is well known. So my search for a new detector began. I also tried (and still own) the Uniden R3, and while it's an amazing detector, it still doesn't compare to the Pro M in terms of false signal rejection. The Pro M is also very small, which makes it easier for me to take it off and take it with me when parking in a shady area. I am very happy that I was able to find this detector! It has served me very well on several trips to Boston and saved me from many tickets!
