Review on 🎧 Koss Porta Pro On-Ear Headphones with Microphone and Remote Control, In-Line Mic, Touch Control, Collapsible Design, 3.5mm Plug, Black/Silver by Marquez Hinshaw

I've had a Porta Pro for years and have always used it on my laptop. I just got a new one with 3 pin (audio only) a week ago and it doesn't work on my samsung j6 cell. Sent it back and got the one with the 4 pin mic but it didn't work on the j6 either. They work great on the laptop as do the headphones on the j6 and the laptop. Letter sent to Koss, never got a reply, went to chat, support 3 gone. Then I called. Tried but nobody has an answer why they don't work on j6. Tried the web but couldn't really find anything. So now I've started myself. When I checked the 3.5mm length while holding the headphone jack (which works on the j6) and the Porta Pro, I noticed that the Porta's 4-pin connector was slightly shorter than the 3.5mm -Headphones (1.8"). I also ordered the corner connectors, plugged the connector into the corner and the corner into the j6, nothing at first, then I pushed very hard and the connector started to work, but the slightest touch and the music stopped.Now I knew it was time for the dremel.I took a corner and cut off the rubber on the corner a bit earlier with a dremel,just trimmed the thicker metal end a bit so I could insert the corner deeper into j6 , and now it works great and doesn't fall out that well Now I also have 3 straight 4 pin connectors 5mm and they close - turn off the music when I plug it into the j6 ie cut the plug on the connector and solder a new straight one and it should work as well since it is longer than the connection. Aside from voiding the warranty. I'm thinking of a workaround and getting me a straight extension that grinds metal if needed and it should work too. Maybe this will help someone else who is having problems with headphones on their cellphone. Koss 1 star deducted because the connector is too short, after all all headphones (I have 4 different ones) work fine on the j6 so I can't do Koss because the connector is too short. By the way, the laptop still works fine with sanded. Added 2 pics with looped double extension cords, both work great and hold up very well in j6 and also work great with laptop.
