This is a good quality dashcam and can really bring an older vehicle into the modern era with the digital rear view mirror. I got it for my new teen driver to use in their older car. as a bonus for people who haven't installed something like this before, the manual is really well written, 100% in English so you don't have a huge manual with multiple languages, and it is very clear as though it was written by an English speaker. A lot of times the manuals for other electronics are hard to comprehend when they've been translated to English, but not this one. It makes it clear what you need to do, and also some of the options you have for installing additional features or not. They provide enough wires and accessories that it should work with most vehicles of varying levels of technological advancement, but the manual does include a disclaimer that it might not work for all older cars.
