I have been using racquets for many years and have never had a problem. But this new one was almost a disaster for me. My first experience of this was during a late-night trip to the grocery store. I left the store just before closing time, loaded a lot of groceries (including a lot of frozen food), sat down and was ready to go. You put the key in the stick, but it doesn't turn in the lock until it stops, and the deadbolt doesn't move to release the steering wheel! Keep messing with it for the next 10 or 15 minutes all the while thinking about the consequences of being stuck alone in an empty parking lot with melting ice. Finally it worked. I suspect he was just "sticky" since he's new, but now I can't trust him. If such a ban works against you, you could get into serious trouble. I have zero tolerance for that kind of risk.
