My fan started making noise after about a year, I bought it as a replacement and it's great, less noise than the original fan and my CPU and GPU temps are lower than before, it's a bit intimidating to replace since the motherboard is upside down, but it's actually very easy. Watch the YouTube tutorial (twice) before you start to make sure you haven't missed any cables. You don't have to peel off all the fan assemblies and reapply thermal paste, just for the fan itself there are 4-5 small screws that you can see when you take the motherboard out.
