It's an easy way to upgrade your console! My first sensors looked old and outdated so I decided to start researching digital sensors to replace my existing sensors. This setup is very easy if you are familiar with 12 volt wiring. You should be very familiar with the existing console/handlebar wiring, as well as the engine wiring harness and sensors (it's easy to learn). In my case I have a 1997 Mercury 60. I ended up removing the voltage, RPM and PSI sensors. Along with pitot fitting in block and pipe. I then installed the PSI, temp and fuel gauges. This sensor now reads RPM, MPH (via GPS), PSI, Temperature, Voltage and Fuel. I'm very satisfied with this product!
