Not much to say after reading Spencer's review in Seattle I was blown away. I already have a few Mini Sawyer filters that I still admire, but the bucket adapter and the then reduced price of $10 were a godsend. Using the same process as Spencer, I made a 5 gallon gravity filter for camp use. The only thing I had to use was teflon tape because the threads were leaking. UPDATE: After almost a year of sporadic use, it's still working perfectly. Maybe it's slowing down, I'm not sure, but I have a Sawyer filter rinsing syringe. It takes about 30 seconds for 8 ounces of water, but all you have to do is stand there. I fill the pot or kettle, put it on and come back in a few minutes. So far very happy with my purchase.
