This item worked perfectly. Just gotta say, if you're installing it yourself, use the goop threat, not the duct tape thread. Thread paste is much better for sealing the 4-way threaded contact with hot line, cold line, showerhead line and tub spout line. The thread tape that I had to peel and paste had a few small drips down the side of the thread for some reason, but after thread pasting I had no problems. It's definitely a great temperature controller, preventing you from scalding yourself with hot water once the water heater heats up. And it heats up SUPER FAST. The moment I turn it on warm or hot it comes out like that you don't have to wait for hot water anymore. I suggest you use ONLY copper or Pex tubing. Do not use PVC or CPVC on this device. It was definitely an easy job given the right parts for it, like thread sealant, and NOT using thread tape. If you install it yourself, use copper tubing and solder. Remove the guts from the diverter before heating the tubes. Many people don't do this and end up melting the plastic inside and then ruining your diverter. But overall a very simple setup.
