Let me just say this material looks great when applied properly. However, if you are not patient and careless, things can go very wrong. We used it to cover up some crappy white laminate that was on the walls and backsplash in our kitchen. SO sticky it's easy to bend 😆 If you stick this to drywall and screw it up - GOOD LUCK! It practically falls apart when you try to pull it off. Seam, you can fill the gaps with white caulk and the gaps will just disappear! I used a few small tubes of white caulk and put on plastic gloves. After spraying a bit on the line, I used a damp foam brush and/or damp sponge to smooth the caulk into the crevices. It takes the patience of a saint to carve, apply and fill in the gaps, but for us it was worth it! When laying sheets, I recommend lifting them up first and making sure they lie perfectly. Then fold back one edge and carefully line up the sticky side. Then carefully separate the backing from the sheet. You have to go slow so the backing doesn't tear, but it's so easy to hold and love.
