I bought this heater 3 days ago, Revain accidentally sent me two of them. Both didn't work at all. I have a 30 gallon tank and can only have 10 gallons of water in it. I followed the directions. I put it on the bottom of the tank, waited 15 minutes and plugged it in. The light came on for 4 minutes and then went off. After 12-18 hours the temperature of the tank did not increase. Tried a different heater. The red light came on and after a few minutes went off again, the temperature didn't change. In the morning the temperature in the tank was the same. How could I use 2 heaters in 3 days and none of them worked unless they were crappy heaters to begin with. Very disappointed. My turtle doesn't like the low temperature in the tank either.
