So far, so good. My little boys are red ear sliders and .

So far so good. My little ones are red eared sliders and since they put them in the aquarium they can't get out. They even sleep next to him in the corner. I have a thermometer and the water is always between 75 and 80 degrees, as promised. Let's see how long this lasts. I've also seen red light issues in some reviews. The indicator light only comes on when the temperature drops and the tank is heating up, goes out when it is sufficiently warmed up. If it's not often, I like it. So your little…

The red light goes out. Tried 2 different heaters. That does not work.

I bought this heater 3 days ago, Revain accidentally sent me two of them. Both didn't work at all. I have a 30 gallon tank and can only have 10 gallons of water in it. I followed the directions. I put it on the bottom of the tank, waited 15 minutes and plugged it in. The light came on for 4 minutes and then went off. After 12-18 hours the temperature of the tank did not increase. Tried a different heater. The red light came on and after a few minutes went off again, the temperature didn't…

Unusable Product Best in Aquarium Heaters & Coolers

I never write reviews on Amazon but I just have to scold and warn you not to waste your money on this product! I've literally bought it 3 times and none of them are worth the money. The first time the heater worked for about a week, then after a few minutes it stopped working. The second worked for about two weeks, after which it stopped working altogether. The third doesn't even come on. I really did everything that the instructions said. I leave it in the water for 20-50 minutes before…

Pros
  • Automatic thermostat keeps water at 78 Fahrenheit.
Cons
  • Only available in white

A TURTLE FAVORITE on aquarium heaters

Recently my turtle heater became obsolete so I had to buy a new one. I was very glad I found it on Revain as I've searched the various retail stores in my area and they no longer sell this particular heater. We love this heater. It has two suction cups for a secure hold and unlike other suction cups, it remains flexible. With proper care, this heater will last a long time. We have had our turtle for 10 years now and this is the second heater we have had to buy. We only use it in the winter…

Pros
  • For proper installation and specifications refer to the manual below.
Cons
  • Obsolete model
