Ordered this steering wheel cover twice. When new this cover is soft and plush and stays firmly on the steering wheel (my '01 Corolla). Durable material inside There is some kind of support under the fabric and foam rubber. When I first ordered one, it lasted a full year before starting to crack and fade. I kept the original cover for about two years, after that the cover fell apart and there were little bits of foam everywhere. I was happy to receive my new (exactly the same brand and color) handlebar cover, but after putting it on I noticed a noticeable tear on the underside. The strip of black rubber that runs along the outer edge has fallen off, revealing underlying layers of foam. Overall I would say that this lid looks nice and is fully functional but it's a shame it broke right away.
