I only use COLD water like doing laundry, hot water only removes stains. When drinking coffee, tea, etc., use cold water. I use Oral B Triumph to brush my teeth and I use a manual toothbrush for the retainer. It takes about five minutes to clean the retainer with a foaming retainer brite, dropping the retainer into a small battery cleaner with water and retainer brite while I brush my teeth. Remove and dry thoroughly, then stick overnight. Invisalign is porous and yellows easily in hot water. Retainer Brite is the only product that really worked. It took me a full year of Invisalign yellowing to find this product. I have now used it on my retainer which years later is still clear and stain free. The packaging has changed, but in my experience the product works the same.
