Review on ๐Ÿงฑ Sika Postfix: Expand Your Options with Mix-in-The-Bag Foam for Non-Structural Posts by Jim Polacek

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It works - almost too well!

This is absolutely better than mixing traditional concrete by hand, especially for small jobs like installing a mailbox. But read the instructions carefully; then read again. And again. Because when you hit the breaking point, you won't have TIME to move! Make sure the mixture is right next to where you want to pour it. Less than 10 meters away. Not even 5 meters away. Find out what you're going to rub it on and have it right there. I used the rim of our metal wheelbarrow. (If this doesn't make sense to you, it will appear when you read the instructions.) Rub the packet back and forth for the time indicated. NO LONGER! Position the bag exactly where you want the mixture to come out and cut off the corner. (I would suggest a pair of scissors, which you no longer want to use.) Like me, you can expect the liquid to squirt out. Ha! Green foam comes out of the bag and develops a life of its own. I got all my hands dirty, one shoe, the bottom of the mailbox. It foams, bends and expands. And it works, really, really well. After 5 minutes the mailbox post stood firm without any support. It dries even faster on the skin! Kerosene removed something. Dry material only needs to be scraped off. Now I use a metal nail file!

Pros

Cons
  • Upgradable
