Pros: It has almost everything you need. A regular knife would be fine. Cons: Pads are very thin, worse than what I used. The hammer is probably the best part. The detachable board has a major design flaw, the ends have to be beveled to fit in the tight spaces between the wall and the piece (in my house there is a big gap under the wall board). Finally, the tap bar could be more user-friendly if both sides were indented at the bottom so you don't keep flipping it trying to find the right side. A label at the top would be nice. In the middle of the work, the plastic was badly worn. I would suggest two branch blocks as a set.
