Lasted 15 minutes before failing. There is a weak rubber between the metal and the velcro material to keep the pillow in place. There isn't much material on the pointed end, and that's the part that goes the furthest. So all power, with not enough material to keep it glued. resulting in poor design. The top third of this article didn't survive being sanded with 80's paint on a boat. The friction of the pad against the paint won and the rubber/velcro quickly dissolved, leaving the tip of the pad in place while the base moved back and forth. So unless you are working with 220 grit on smooth wood I would avoid this. Now only the bottom half has a hook and loop so there is no way to sand in the corner making this item a wasted $$$ for me along with the other 19 sanding pads I bought. Useless!
