Definitely as advertised. They fit snugly into the media filter socket. The one I replaced was identical to this one and did a great job of removing dust, dirt and pollen from the airflow while keeping airborne allergens out of the house. While I'm not the biggest fan of media filters in general, they work much better than standard 1-inch filters and don't need to be changed often. They have a significantly larger surface area, which improves airflow and loading on your circulation fan, so overall a good benefit. When it's time for a replacement, I'll hit the back order button!
