We bought a cheaper cage wheel for our chinchilla and I've never seen her use it. Soon there were pieces of plastic everywhere and it wouldn't even spin. Enter THIS PRODUCT. Although it's a bit pricey, it's BEAUTIFUL! It's thick, durable, and attaches securely to our cage with the included hardware. It's also fairly quiet, which is a must if you have a nocturnal animal. With this impeller, the proof is in the pudding. Our Daisy uses this thing ALL THE TIME. And considering the average lifespan of a chinchilla, it's definitely worth the money!
