Very Useful Gates - Gates and Gate Extensions

My cat has decided to meet me at the door when I get home come and try to explore the lobby in my house. Instead of struggling to keep the cat inside and also trying to get my groceries in, I chose this gate. Doesn't matter! Unlike other pressure gates I've used in the past, this gate uses a bolt system to attach to walls. Twist the rod in one direction - it expands, in the opposite direction - it shortens. Once you've set your starting size, it only takes a few turns on each bar for it to lock into place. My cat is only 10 pounds so we had no problem with her trying to dislocate her collar. It definitely helped me (even though it was designed for babies). By the way, don't waste your money on the wall protectors listed in the "Frequently Purchased Items" section. I've tried them and because of the screw mechanism that makes these gates work there is no way to permanently attach them to the gate (perhaps without damaging them). I've had no issues with wall markings and have returned screen protectors with no issues.
