This will probably work for you if you're not a serious cyclist, but if you're planning a real ride and appreciate devices you want to hang up then you should definitely avoid this. I brought a flashlight and a GoPro for a long, multi-day trip. For the first few hours, I crossed a rough road and hit a tree root. The impact of the impact was enough to blast this prop in three pieces. Luckily the lantern was tied to a wire and didn't fall to the ground. The GoPro is tough enough to take a few good hits on the pavement, but survived with just a few scratches. While it was quite a blow, there's no good excuse for this mount to fall apart so easily. I will know I will never buy a plastic mount in the future - only trust metal if you value your devices.
