I got a 10ft footer from an iPad Lightning to USB Adapter to a Schitt Audio Modi 3 DAC.. Really great sound from TIDAL, FLAC or Spotify 320 to speakers Magnepan. I think USB 2 data can be carried up to 10 feet without signal degradation, so it makes sense that the sound is great too. (Experts: yes, yes, I know they're unrelated, but just to allay common folk's fears.) Although I'd recommend that you just buy the unbranded version. The fabric makes it very stiff and to some extent the fabric can snag on things. If you're hosting it permanently and want something more permanent, this option is fine. But if you move it at all, the unbraided version will be the same but without the braid.
