Review on πŸ’« OnePlus 8 Interstellar Glow: 5G Unlocked, 12GB RAM, 256GB Storage, 90Hz Display, Triple Camera, & Alexa Built-in by Virot Teerachetmongk ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I would definitely recommend the purchase, I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

before that, I used the Samsung S8 + for almost 3 years, I changed it because the display was a little knocked out, 4 GB of RAM in the current realities deprived it of multitasking as such, and I just got tired of this smart. I am satisfied with the choice and I hope that the current device will also serve faithfully for at least 3 years. I took the Chinese version because of the difference in price (about 5-6 thousand), by and large they are no different from European ones (from the differences: memory plug, firmware and some bands in the modem). Google Pay works, with the Galaxy Watch 46 mm they are good friends. I think that for its price (45,000) there are simply no worthy analogues. oh, yes, I have this device in the color Interstellar Glow, this is the best color that I have seen in smart phones :)

Pros
  • his virtues were described all before me, there is nothing to add, I can only summarize: 1. excellent display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz - for the last 6 years I have been using smart phones only with amoled screens, PWM and burn-in are not terrible for me personally; 2. processor - snapdragon 865 - pulls everything that is possible without throttling and any problems (the psp emulator and heavy games are played with stable 60 fps); 4. Also, the advantages of the processor include excellent communication quality and a higher speed of mobile Internet (compared to exinos); 3. 12 GB of RAM is enough to calmly hold any applications in memory for a very long time; 4. lightning-fast Warp charging and excellent battery autonomy - enough for a day of active use; 5. optimization / smoothness of the interface; 6. In terms of sound, I liked the stereo speakers and aptX support, the vibro is also good.
Cons
  • they are not, as such, but for me personally, the Samsung shell (One UI) is more comfortable, but this is a matter of habit. I note that Oxygen is no less comfortable to use. everyone also scolds the camera, but I practically don’t use it, so this shortcoming passed me by. as a last resort, you can always install Gcam.
