POSITIVE Well made, met all expectations and compatibility wasn't an issue as my Mac Pro 5.1 (3.33) can be finicky with most USB3 cards and especially PCIe Express. This product uses a 16x line. NEGATIVES While the system information definitely shows up as USB 3.1, the ASM1351 reports a maximum speed of 5 GB/s, which conforms to the 3.0 standard. I'm glad to have a working 3.0 standard that is compatible, but was hoping that higher speeds would be available with a '3.1' rated card. I'm using a 3.1 rated Powered Dock that spins the hard drive at 7500 RPM.
