2 problems with this product.1. This plug is suitable when you need a permanent drain or pipe plug. Once you have tightened it, close the hand screw that pulls the plastic part of the stopper into the rubber housing. This increases the diameter of the rubber part to seal the pipe. Excellent. We want that. Trouble is, if you ever need to remove the plug for drain maintenance, then loosening the hand screw will do literally nothing. The plastic plug is ALWAYS stuck in the rubber case.2. But let's assume you don't screw the plastic plug in too far, so by unscrewing the hand screw you can remove the plug. If you have a vertical drain, you will lose the plastic plug in the drain. Yes, that's right, nothing prevents the cork from falling into the sewer. You have to remember this is a horrible design plug you bought maybe a year ago and you have to hold on to the threaded screw while unscrewing the plug. If you forget it, it may give you more headaches as you have to recover it somehow. Do not buy this product. It's a great idea, but poorly implemented.
