Very good quality leather and construction. The leather is almost shiny, so shiny, but I'm sure it will wear off a bit over time. Right where your Achilles tendon goes, there's a very nice heel pad to keep it comfortable. The rubber on the outsole is thicker than it looks on the outside and is very durable. The laces provided are also high quality flat laces. They don't have arch support or thick insoles as you'd expect, and the toe box is pretty flat. The ankle also tends to drop a bit lower than most shoes, like a very low upper. If you have wide feet, they are not for you either. They fit exactly to my foot width, the sides of the feet have skin contact on both sides and I have a normal wide foot. semi-casual dress shoes or pretty casual casual shoes, depending on what else you wear. The color of the laces matches the color of the shoe so they don't stand out from the rest of the shoe. Your size is too big. I saw other reviews and got the full size smaller than usual and they are still large. I'm size 43 EU (EU sizes tend to be more consistent) which is usually a US 10 or 10.5. I ordered a size 9 based on the reviews and would like to order a half size smaller.
