Hole Size Matters
Mounting Hardware Exactly 1 . 5", so if you drill a 1.375" diameter hole as many RO manuals specify, it will be too large to fit safely. Ideally, this fastening material should have a slightly larger diameter. I would recommend drilling a 1" or smaller hole to ensure the faucet is securely fastened and to make a good watertight connection between the rubber gasket under the mounting hardware on this faucet and your sink.
