This is the second Hawkeye product I have purchased for my boats. I bought this device to replace a broken device that was already installed on my ski boat. The hole was already in the case, which made the replacement very easy. Everything was exactly the same as what I had uninstalled before the install went very smoothly. I decided to keep the depth reading from the bottom of the hull and just add the boat's draft in my head. I really want to know how deep the water is just below my boat.
