Review on 2-Pack Premium Stainless Steel Water Flex Connectors for Water Heater and Water Softener (18x1 FIP) - Heavy Duty and Highly Durable with Extra Thick Washers by Maurice Matlock

I bought a new water softener and ended up cutting the copper wire off the main water supply and replacing it with a 1 inch plug to to work with this hose. There was no leakage at the fitting side, but there was some leakage at the hose neck (pipe side) at first. I had to add a 215 o-ring behind the neck of the pipe. To do this, temporarily remove the washer and pull back the fitting, add an O-ring to wrap around the neck of the pipe. I had to play around with it to fully stretch the connection, but it was enough to seal it on this end. I then replaced the supplied washer and did the setup again. There are no more leaks. As mentioned, I would like the manufacturer to provide additional washers/O-rings. This would probably get rid of all the 1 star reviews complaining about leaks.
