Want an inexpensive yet reliable and fast Wi-Fi option for your desktop computer? They probably won't do any better. Don't go the USB route, it will only disappoint you. Note; I had to download the drivers before this worked for me. So make sure you can somehow download them to your computer. Whether it's a different connection, or downloading it to a flash drive from somewhere else, etc. I believe it comes with a driver CD, but I don't think many people have floppy drives anymore.
