A little hint for deciding which iPad to choose. The size: The 11 inch iPad is the most optimal device in terms of portability/screen size. Too big for pockets, therefore carry in a bag or backpack. If you are looking for something that is as mobile as possible, but which is still convenient for drawing, plotting and doing other work that requires a large screen surface - 11 "is ideal. Not as huge as 12.9", which is completely inconvenient to use outdoors or on hand - it is rather for professional artists who know what they need. Also, the iPad Air 2022 (expensive) is coming out soon, there is also support for a penny. BUT! It is convenient to draw when the hand is on the tablet, and not "on the tablet, then on the table." Therefore, when you come to the right edge of the tablet - the right third of the screen is not really used. Therefore, the future Air is more suitable for notes, IMHO. But on the other hand, it is mobile and easier to hold in one hand. Generation: If you are not going to load your device with powerful games or video editing, consider buying a first generation firmware. The 1st generation tablet is also very productive. The main differences will be the difference between the 60 and 120 Hz screen, as well as in the camera block. Hertz below will be a bit of an eyesore, only if you use 120+ hertz monitors and have already tasted the difference, if not, and the price is critical, take the 1st generation. The camera block is a whim. At least, unless the developers come up with some cool augmented reality apps. Yes, the camera is the best among all tablets, but who takes pictures on tablets especially? . It's not as convenient as with a smartphone. And not as good quality. "Proshka" is more about creativity, drawing, planning, designing, multitasking and working with documents. If your work with a pencil will be purely formal (notes - maximum), buy something from other Apple lineups. Otherwise, choose from the "firmware". 3rd or 4th generation for 12.9" and 2nd for 11" - who needs torment with Apple Pencil 1st gen?.
