You can't beat the price but unfortunately these lights share the same disadvantages as other battery powered LED lights: (1) They are very bright and therefore need to be mounted easily so they don't catch your eye directly . (2) The remote control signal strength is terrible. They don't go through walls - not even through a desk drawer. Of the pluses - they are very light and easy to assemble using double-sided tape. I installed one set under the sink - with a light at the bottom of the sink - and another set in the cabinet, again with indirect light to avoid shining my eyes. The remote fits into a holster that can be easily attached to a wall or other surface through the screw holes or with the included double-sided tape, and the remote itself slides up and out for easy battery replacement. small changes in light intensity are possible with the remote control. If it wasn't for the incredibly weak signal I would rate this a 4.
