Review on TL Reefs Bayoxide E33: The Ultimate Granular Ferric Oxide Phosphate Remover for Saltwater Aquariums by Robin Evans

Not sure if all those other reviews are talking about a lot of dust. I flushed mine pretty well and there was a bit more dust in it after turning it on, but my tank ran out. I have the reactor in front of the skimmer so it catches any by-products thrown out of the reactor. It all depends on your filtering if you ask me. NOW this product works! My phosphates were at 0.16ppm and this GFO reduced them to 0.04ppm in one day! This product works. You just have to know how to use it. Rinse, rinse again, rinse again. Then add the media reactor, you don't need much. If you clog the reactor, it will stick together and become a sediment. I didn't even use the recommended amount from the bad instructions, I used less and it still worked! You want the media in the reactor to tumble smoothly and not go too crazy. If you know how to use it, you will get great results.
