Review on Cyber Shot DSC W800 Digital Camera Memory by Ryan Hoover

The camera is better than I thought

This camera doesn't have too many flaws. Every time my wife went on vacation, she would buy half a dozen or more disposable cameras, which I thought was silly. A dozen disposables approached the price of this camera and could not match the quality of photos or clicks (which disposables cannot) and have the end result in digital format. She would have to send in disposable photos, pay a lot of money for development, and have the lab convert her photos to a digital format for future safekeeping. The only argument she gave me was that she liked the point and shoot ability. I stopped arguing with her, bought this camera, set it up as a point and shoot, put in a large memory card, bought a nice compact hard case for it and told my wife you could spend your whole vacation taking photos and you'd never have to worry about not having enough memory to take a million more photos, even though you've tried unsuccessfully. Newbie, she came home with lots of great photos. So many that I gave up collaborating with her on my computer to find out what she wanted for her album. The cost of processing the scrapbook-size photos taken with this camera was so low that I simply uploaded everything to a trusted photo lab. Now she doesn't know which photos to put in her scrapbook; but I'm out of this cycle now. However, I now wonder what will happen if I show her that he can also make films. This is a great little camera and I was surprised by its performance; Too bad I didn't buy one as I'll never get it from her.
