As you all know the 3V-1 does not have interchangeable lenses and that is a downside of the camera. Don't get me wrong, the camera is great, but if you're blogging or doing tutorials like me, you'll find that the camera is too close to you. It's not about the camera, it's about the lenses themselves. I believe the focus is around 24mm to 70mm and while that's not too bad, it's far from a perfect wide angle shot. I believe the adapter will give you a 18mm frame, much better than the original 24mm frames. This is where the adapter comes into play. Basically you put it on the camera (as shown in the video) and you instantly get a wider shot, like here. This is great if you're blogging on the street and want to show background views when talking to the camera, or even if you're recording video in your studio and need a better shot.
