I needed a new pair of smooth standard shoes. I have a pair of high-end sneakers, but even a pair of baggy sneakers are too tight for my wide feet, and when I clench my toes, I look like clubfoot. Also, my pronated ankles wore the heel counter unevenly, so I wanted to find a thicker heel for stability. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on it and after a long search I found these great shoes. I bought them in 3 sizes and chose the largest pair due to the width. I had to use insoles to keep the heels from slipping because they were too long. It didn't take long to break them in. I'm used to the zipper but it was a little tricky. I have worn them in a display case and they felt very sturdy and looked beautiful. I am very pleased!
