Review on 💻 RAIJINTEK THETIS CLASSIC ATX Mid Tower Case (Black) - No Power Supply Included by Jacob Guerrero

I really like this case, although I have a few love-hate relationships against it. I wanted to build an ultra-compact workstation, and this case has enabled me to do just that. It's really small, probably as small as a full ATX case can get. It's small enough to carry under my arm and I'm only 5ft 7in tall. The aesthetics are good too. Although it's a fairly basic case, the black metal body looks good and holds up well. The power button/display also includes HDD read/write indicators, which is a nice touch. Keep in mind that this is an upside down ATX case, which means your phone is upside down compared to regular full sized cases. This made for a few interesting wiring situations, but generally there were no problems. I gave this case 4 stars out of 5 Here are my complaints: 1. No thumbscrews. or working on my computer, which I need to find or carry a screwdriver with me. 2. Only one case fan. For reasons you will read later, you need to invest in more case fans. ". 3. The airflow blows a bit. This case really only fits 3 case fans: 2 on the top and one on the back. This leaves the assembly with very limited options in terms of airflow. Because of this, I decided to use 3 Buying BeQuiet fans, two for the top intake and one to replace the stock exhaust fan at the back.4.Very little space.It's kind of a pro and con since the case is so small.However, this case will force you to do so Having to face some pretty tricky build situations. For example, my top fans had to be removed during build because the mobo wouldn't fit if the fans were installed first. This case forces you (to an extent) to a specific one Build order, and if you get it wrong you'll have to remove installed components before proceeding.Once everything is in the case, the wiring and wiring becomes a far eren hurdle.5. case management. Basically it doesn't exist. Because the power supply is mounted right next to the mobile device and the back of the computer case is incredibly flat, you have to route the cables from the power supply through grommets only to flip them back over to reconnect them. in front. The only other option would be to bend them into a ball and wire them through the PSU, which would look like crap. Trapped warmth. The power supply is mounted with the exhaust air side to the bottom of the housing. This case sits incredibly close to the floor/table/work surface. Not only is this bad for heat dissipation from the case, but it also creates a very warm area under the case. If you have this computer on a wood surface with a thin finish, I can see how heat can potentially fade or damage the finish over time. Because of this, I decided to put the computer on its side. Not only does this block air restrictions, but it also allows me to use the "side" of the case as a mounting surface for external hard drives and hot-swappable peripherals. Overall, despite my complaints, I like it very much. Case. If I had to do it again and again I would buy and use it without hesitation. I wouldn't recommend it for new builders as it will make things harder than usual. But if compactness is the goal, look no further.
