Inexpensive case with the best computer components

The appearance of the case is simple and minimalist. I love the fact that it supports 6 internal 3.5 hard drives and also has 3 external 5.25 slots. I am using this to build a NAS and it suits my needs. Cable management is a bit tricky as there is little space between the MB tray and the side panel, but that's to be expected on a budget case.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Great ultra compact ATX case with some unique issues.

I really like this case, although I have a few love-hate relationships against it. I wanted to build an ultra-compact workstation, and this case has enabled me to do just that. It's really small, probably as small as a full ATX case can get. It's small enough to carry under my arm and I'm only 5ft 7in tall. The aesthetics are good too. Although it's a fairly basic case, the black metal body looks good and holds up well. The power button/display also includes HDD read/write indicators, which is…

I like the size and the look of the case

I like the size and the look of the case. But I wish it had some of the features of some of the larger cases. Unfortunately, it's anything but tool-less. Panels are easily deformed/scratched. However, I just love the look.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Only available in black

Excellent for this money!

Nice little case for $60. I bought this cheap for a home server so I was mainly looking for hard drive trays. I would recommend for cheap builds. Pros: - 6 tool-less drive bays (plastic) - 3 5.25 bays if you need an optical drive or more hard drive bays - 2 included 120mm fans are good for case fans. Disadvantages: - Little space behind the mainboard tray. So it was quite difficult to organize all the power cables and SATA cables in a way that the backplate would fit.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Big things come in small packages!

If you need full size components in the smallest possible size without wasting hands or feet, this is the case for you! Granted, airflow and cooling are some concerns. It has tempered glass on both sides, just by looking at the pictures you can conclude the airflow won't be great. With that in mind, I decided not to put anything too harsh on this case. It will easily fit a full-size graphics card (assuming your ATX power supply isn't too long), an ATX power supply, and even a powerful Noctua…

I built a fast virtualization server for my home lab!

This is an ATX case that looks great and is smaller than many mATX cases, but be careful when choosing your power supply. My Corsair 450 module was not working due to the wrong position of the power connector. The Seasonal 450 worked well. I built this little "bad boy" into my Inception Hyper-V. This is a physical Hyper-V host with virtual AD, a file server and 2 nested HyperV hosts as a shared storage failover cluster supporting 2 failover VMs, a WSE server and a Win 10 Pro client. $400 with…

Pros
  • Great
Cons
  • Almost OK

The best option to reduce the footprint of your complete ATX system.

This is almost as small as an ATX mainboard. The side panels and top vent rattle a bit, but it's nothing that a little fiddling can't deal with. Just keep in mind the length of your PSU and GPU. This would be a good candidate for an SFX power supply with an adapter mount.

  • GOLS certified
