Review on Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-WX9 16 by Sfl Richardson

Bought this camera for my girlfriend for her birthday. I wanted to give her a nice compact camera that takes great pictures and videos. After a lot of research on the internet and back and forth, I decided on this one and I am very satisfied with my decision. This camera takes amazing pictures and I can't tell you how many features this little camera has. *Background blur* - In my opinion, this is one of the best features of the camera. I really like how this feature mimics the background blur you see in high-end DSLRs. This really makes the subject stand out from the background, resulting in a subtle 3D effect. *Panorama mode* - that's also very, very cool. In front of this camera, I have never been able to take perfect panoramic shots so easily. The camera makes it very easy to take wide panoramic shots and they look amazing. For that reason, it would be a real estate agent's dream camera. *3D mode* - As a 3D enthusiast I wasn't expecting much from 3D images, but this little camera produces pretty good 3D images. We connected the camera to my 55 inch 3D plasma to view the captured 3D images. To my surprise, you can actually control the camera with the TV remote when the camera is connected via HDMI. The 3D images looked great and definitely exceeded my expectations in that regard. In some photos, 3D was more visible depending on what you're looking at. I thought the 3D pictures of my saltwater aquarium were great! *Smile Shutter* - I had never seen this technology before and was really impressed. You don't have to press any buttons. You just make sure you face the camera, smile a little and the camera takes a picture. There are 3 different Smile Shutter mode settings represented by icons. Since you can't see the symbols, I'll describe them as follows: smile with no teeth, smile with teeth, smile with super cheese. Works perfectly! Seen from any point and shoot the camera. Excellent resolution, fairly stable for point and shoot videos. Overall this is an amazing camera, I think it should be a bit more expensive depending on what you get out of it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality point and shoot camera with an amazing range of features.
