Infinitely better than a knife!

I used to be afraid to work with puff pastry because I couldn't line the cakes with a bang. A ruler and a knife just don't suit me! I can't do it! I decided to give it a try and boy do I feel like I'm an accomplished pie maker. It's very easy to use and works great. So far I've tried it on white almond sour cream cake and it worked great. I could bake a checkerboard cake and I couldn't imagine doing it before. Can't wait to bake more fabulous cakes! If you don't know how to level cake, don't hesitate to get this tool! I promise you will love it! Updated 04/24/17. I have used this cake aligner several times with different cake recipes and every time it aligns the cakes perfectly. I love him so much. For those who say this leveler crushes muffins, you need to make sure the muffins are completely cool. I always freeze cakes before leveling. I usually make them a few days ahead of time, freeze them, and then thaw them for two hours before leveling them. This method works like a charm. If you need cupcakes the same day, here's what you need to do after the cupcake comes out of the oven 1.) Flip the cupcakes after 10 minutes. 2.) Chill them on a cooling rack for an hour. 3.) Wrap them in cling film and freeze them for an hour. 4.) Take them out of the freezer and flatten them. The chocolate cake I posted in my review is really wet but the cake leveler still worked. I had no problems at all. I love love love this cake leveler and now I can't live without it. Goodbye cake domes and uneven cake layers!
