I keep these in my emergency kit in our family cars. I had a family member who was once in a car accident in a remote location and a stranger pulled over and gave him his car blanket to keep him warm and relieve his shock symptoms until paramedics arrived. It was very valuable and I wanted to pay up front and always have blankets on hand in case I could help someone else one day. They are not bulky, fold quite compactly and easily fit in a glove box. A great item to leave in the glove box and forget about until one day you need it. Sit on one sheet/blanket and use the other to cover yourself.**
