Used the product to clone the current smaller SSD to a larger one in a laptop. Then use the older one for another laptop or as a backup drive. The device worked fine, going through partitions and resizing, although Macrium Reflect didn't do the job perfectly, but that's another issue. The cloning wasn't lightning fast, but it's probably because of Macrium's free dosing to lure you into buying the premium version. The 2280 size bumper is pretty tight and make sure you put the card in the bumper and then slide it into the hole, not like a screw but interchangeable and use other drives if needed. Comes with a blue thermal shield that fits snugly to the metal body and transfers heat. I wouldn't use a passive enclosure to run NVME drives continuously as they all get pretty hot, but this unit had great reviews so I knew it would work in my short-term use cases. SO many other devices have had reliability and overheating issues, so getting a reliable device is of paramount importance.
