Review on πŸš— Enhanced Windshield Suction Cup Mount for Radar and Laser Detectors by Auden Paz

Also works with 9500i series detectors

Description does not mention that this also works with 9500i and 9500ix Escort detectors. Reading this, I noticed that this model was not mentioned, so I was a bit concerned that this model was deliberately excluded from the list. At such a low price, although I thought it was worth the risk, it turned out to be the identical mount that came with your 9500i detector. Mounts, it's just hard to get to the buttons and some people may have trouble connecting to the GPS if it's mounted directly on the roof of your car (although I've had no problems). There is another company that makes a mount that attaches directly to the rearview mirror and it works really well, it's just a bit pricey for what you actually get. It annoyed me that after a while the suction cups came loose and your $500 detector hit the dash and fell to the ground while you were driving down the road. It's never a good feeling when it happens. When this happens to me, I don't even boil mine in water. I just leave them in a cup of hot tap water overnight. In the morning, the clear cups look white, but as they dry, they become clear again and continue to function like new for a few months. It also helps a lot to make sure your windshield is clean before sticking it on. I purchased the additional mounts listed here because I use my detector in multiple vehicles. It's always difficult to re-tap and kink a bracket to make it work in different vehicles. At this low price I can now have a mount in each of my cars. The less you stick and peel off these suction cups, the longer they will last. The description should also warn people, although some states, such as California, have laws prohibiting the installation of suction cups on the windshield. If you live in such a condition, consider opting for a more expensive mirror mount or visor mount instead. You can search "countryjoycrafts" for a better but much more expensive mirror mount option.
